Mental Preparation

Mental preparation includes mental techniques, methods, practices, or trainings that enable the athlete to increase his or her performance in regards to training or competition.

 

*Examples: goal setting, imagery or visualization, breathing exercises, relaxation exercises, concentration drills, cognitive restructuring, self-talk or affirmations, self-hypnosis, Biofeedback or Neurofeedback, etc.

*Any questionnaire completed has the potential to be used as a contribution for upcoming publications, i.e. blogs, research, books, etc. If a questionnaire you completed does lead into a publication that is sold on the public market you have the option to become an affiliate for sales and receive a percentage of sales income.
